Hi all,

Having a look at the new ute (81 f100) and it became apparent that the interior is one hell of a mismatch of leftover or excess parts painted at the factory during assembly to give some resemblance of a uniform "tan" colour scheme. Most of the parts appear to have been factory red interior parts originally.

Anyone else noticed this?

I was toying with redoing the interior as a grey colour scheme but wasn't sure of painting the vinyl, but seeing as it was good enough for the factory I may give it a go!

 

I had some in a pressure pack for an 89 F150 to recolour a sun damaged door trim, did the job. Can't remember the brand unfortunately, too many years ago
