I've got a 292 that is already 50 over. Whats the max safe over bore? Also my crank is 20 on the rods and 10 on the mains, whats the most you can safely turn one of these?

 

This guy sells .060 pistons, not sure your motor will clean up with only another .010.

Rod and mains out to .040.

I remember my dad going on and on about a neighbor's Minneapolis Moline tractor motor have a rod journal turned .120, as he ran it pounding away for quite some time before the overhaul. So, sometimes you can go more than you think!!!

This is an old article, but it says you can go .125 on overbore.

if its .050 over that's a stnd,312 piston bore.just buy a .030 or .040 312 piston enough to clean it up.
