Finally took the plunge
Well with a little reading and some help from FTE I finally decided to pull the trigger and got me a 2013 F250 with the 6.2 and 4.30's about 2 weeks ago and I must say, I am actually more than impressed with its performance. I wasn't expecting the grunt of a diesel and having owned a 2008 Spartan tuned F250 6.4, I was a little nervous that I would regret not getting a diesel. Due to all my troubles with my old 6.4, I had gotten rid of it and had a GMC 1500 w/6.2 vmax in it. Needless to say it had served its purpose and was time to go, so when I started looking at the 250's again I was a little hesitant on the new diesel's due to all the emissions on the 6.7's and the troubles from my previous diesel. Comparing my 6.2 w/430s to my old gmc with the 6.2, it's not even really broken in yet and is by far stronger and just as quick as the vmax. The fuel mileage is better and it pulls excellent compared to the vmax. To make a long story short I am more than pleased with the 6.2/430 combination and it will do everything I need and less $ in maintenance than my old 6.4. I plan to get a 5* tune for it as soon as it breaks in and I make sure there is no bugs in it . I can't wait to see what it will be like then.

I will get a pic up asap, trying to figure out how to post one from my iphone. Im from the south. They found me one in oklahoma, it is a dressed XLT. I didn't really want all the extras in the Lariat because most of it i never used in my old truck. It has black leather inside which was the main thing i wanted besides the 430s. It just happen to be a bonus that i wanted a silver one and it happen to be silver.
