Last month we took the fridge to a vintage trailer ralley in Lynden Wa. That was the second time we attended, but the first time towing with the '59. It was a great way to enjoy the old vehicle hobby, and the people were extremely nice and friendly. It was a 3 day event and everything was open and lit up til 10 or 11 at night. The trailers were amazing, and the tow vehicles were too. Now I want a Ford country squire wagon...... We were not shunned with our unpainted fridge OR our brush painted '58 Aloha. Lots of gearheads wanted to see under the hood, and the wives compared period accessories and trailer furnishings.
Beautiful! Love the Silver Streak. I'm always dreaming of getting a period aluminum can to tow behind the '60 but the Boler 1700 will have to do for now...
Kind of looks like going to Disney World in the "land of yesterday", cept' the pic of your rig which just looks plain 'ol everyday "real"! The "Friesel", is my favorite of the bunch. I would be afraid to get too close to the other stuff.
Thanks Spur, I can always count on you to affirm my beliefs.....My place looks a bit like that town at Disneyland where Brer Fox and his kinfolk live and they have the ride in the hollowed out log.
