don't hate me

I know it's a sin to lower a 4wd but im trying to, well sorta. 96' f150 4x4 right now it has 33x12.50's and a 3 inch body lift. I want to drop it back to stock height and stick a 2" rear drop shackle kit in. A summit racing tech said I couldn't do it to a 4x4 but I think that's because Summit doesn't sell any for a 4x4.. Ebay has a lot of em said to fit a 4x4. I know stock height with 33's wont work in the front because they will rub but I have 2" wheel spacers to hopefully solve that problem. But does anyone know if a rear drop shackle is possible?
