Windshield wiper kit wiring

Has anyone installed the windshield wiper kit. I bought mine from Classic Haulers, but it appears to be the same one that Dennis Carpenter has.

The problem is that it came without a wiring diagram & there are 5 leads on the harness. I know that I need power and ground. I think the other leads are low speed, high speed, and park.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for this kit?

Thanks,

Dan

seems like classic haulers should be able to email you a diagram.

Its likely the same kit or similar to what Mid 50s sells. Check on their website under instructions they have several versions as I recall. Had to do a little work on mine as the ground was wired into the connection plug in the wrong spot and it kept shorting when I switched to high.

I looked on Mid Fifty, Classic Haulers and Dennis Carpenter. I see lots of instructions on Mid Fifty, but they're for Mid Fifties, not ours. No such instructions on Classic Haulers or DC.

The stock wiper motor has 3 leads. The case is grounded to the frame. The switch has 4 leads, all hot at some point. One is the voltage supply.

The way the original parks is by applying the same voltage to two contacts at the same time, equaling them out, and providing 0 volts difference in potential. It took me a while to figure out how that worked.

So, with 5 wires, I have to assume you have a ground, high speed, low speed and park. I have no idea what the other wire would be. Sorry.

Call Classic Haulers.

I sent an email off to Classic Haulers. I was hoping that somebody here had the information at their fingertips.
