Mobile Applications

We are happy to announce our new free mobile apps that makes it easy for you to use Ford-Trucks on the go!
You can find it in both the iOS app store/Google Play listed as "Internet Brands Auto" in iTunes, and "IB Automotive Group" in Google Play or click the links below.

Android users click here:

Apple users click here:

Once in the app for the first time, you will need to select "Forum Browser", and Ford-Trucks can be found under the "Truck" Category, or by searching for the term "Ford-Trucks".

These 2 apps allow you to:
  • Post/View/Reply
  • Attach photos from your library (or take them from your camera on your phone)
  • Receive notifications when you receive a new PM, or when a new post is made in a thread you are subscribed to
  • Customize your home screen with favorite forums and subforums
  • Save thread images to your picture gallery

Before you ask, at this stage we are not looking at supporting other devices (Windows Phone/iPad specific app - although the iPhone app will work on your iPad etc.)

Hope you enjoy.
Sincerely,

The FTE moderation team

For the Google Play store, you gotta look for "IB Automotive Group". Installing now, to be continued...

Cool! I'm going to download it right now!

And by the way, I couldn't find it on Google Play by searching "Internet Brands Auto" I had to search for "IB Auto Group" to find it.

I had this before, it just didn't have the Ford Truck or Mustang forums in it, even though it showed in the screenshot. I'll have to reinstall it and check it out. Based on the old Forum Runner that you guys bought, right?

Adrian, had a glitch in it earlier today. I tried to post an attachment that was a picture that I took with my smartphone. As it tried to upload it, I got a message saying that it had crashed and a message was being sent to the tech team. Other than that, I am really liking what I have seen so far with it.

Working good for the most part. Been getting a few timeouts on the forum list and it has crashed a fee times on ios7. I do like having more functionality. Waaay better than that gimped blackberry mobile site.

I had the app crash repeatedly tonight. Had to uninstall it to get it to work. Add with any first release it will have a few bugs. Just glad to see we finally have mobile support.*

* Unless you want to call the mobile site support. I think it was designed for an old Nokia!

You can't. There are a few things that the app doesn't support.
