Hi,
have noticed that every once in a while the forum software will show ALL threads in ALL forums as read for me even when I've not been on the site in a few days (rare, I know )

there are many threads/forums I never visit,
but yet they are all marked as read ?

I don't think this is anything I am doing ....

this afternoon, everything is marked as read !

Are you logging out before you leave FTE, then logging in when you come back?

I know when I do that, it marks all the forums as read.

Nope --- I've set it where I never have to put my password in using firefox...
but think I found the issue...

I am on new desktop with windows 8.1 (yuch! but less yucky than 8.0!)
Given that some things require double clicks and some single on this new ops system,

I THINK it happens when I double click my url shortcut and the fte software thinks I've logged in twice in rapid succession...
when I see all forums and threads marked read I click the back arrow to go back one level in history and it shows unread forums - but all the thread are still marked as read... and the last visited is the previous minute...

so partly the problem is external to the keyboard since the software doesn't think visiting 1 second ago is an anomaly

I'm back - have watched what I do
and this morning EVERY post, thread, forum is marked as read... ???

MOST of which I don't go into so....

having been on here since 2012 or so, it's just started doing that...
not sure what it is, but my guess is something in the cookies or the fte side...

could it be windows 8 ?
