My 6.2 Impressed Me
I picked up my new 5th wheel yesterday. It's a 2014 Cougar 330RBK dry weight of 10030. I picked up the 5er about 175 miles from home my truck pulled the 5er flawlessly and i got pretty decent gas mileage too. I was a little worried about how my truck with the 3.73 gears would perform pulling that kind of weight. I went straight to a CAT scale when i left the dealer truck and trailer came in at 18640. I'm very close to max GCVW of 19000. I moved everything out of my old travel trailer into the 5th wheel at the dealer and i had my family with me when we went to the scale. The only other weight i would need to add for a normal camping trip would be our food. Plus i had my old weight distribution hitch in the bed of the truck with the spring bars and friction sway control I figure it weighs about 100lbs. So overall i am very impressed and relived at how well the truck handled the load.

The Nittos have been great. I have about 14k on them with hardly any signs of wear. They get good traction in mud and snow. I wish they would wear faster so I can replace them with NittoTrail Grapplers. I just have the factory exhaust with the tip that comes with the chrome package.
