Thinking of visiting Salt Lake City in mid-October, particularly interested in seeing Great Salt Lake, maybe by going to Antelope Island State Park? Any advice? Where is the best (cheapest) area in SLC to stay (need accomodations for family of 7)?

 

Are you driving or flying? I work for Marriott, I can see if I have anything available. Any time specifically in Oct?

 

Driving, would be there the 16th or 17th.

 

During that time there is teacher confrence for the local school district, the cheaper rates I have are a little outside of Salt Lake. I can do $59 a night in a Fairfield inn or $69 a night for the Park City Marriott in Park City

 

Hey loudfords!! Did you make it out to SLC? How was your trip if you did?

SLCoffroad...man those look like some good rates to me. Can you secure rates like that outside the area?
