1992 f-150 4x4 clutch slave cylinder leaking

hello. i have a 92 f-150 4x4 with a 302 engine that has recently been converted to a 5 speed manual transmission that was pulled from an 89 f-150 4x4. surprisingly the conversion went very smoothly, until it was time to bleed to clutch. and well it seems like the brake fluild is pouring out of it, even after the bleeder valve had been closed. i even had fluid coming out of the front of the transmission. my question, where did i go wrong. i bought at the parts new from the local oreillys. i think something is defective right out of the box, but this is my first time with a hydrallic clutch. so i am unsure
