Here's link on replacing them. If you have a NAPA with a machine shop you could remove the rotors get them checked to see if salvageable and need turned and buy new bearings/seals and have them reinstall and pack them with grease so all you would need to do is reinstall.

From what I read it appears they do so you don't need to deal with the rotors. Am used to the 2wd setup and no such luck with them.

Are you sure it's the wheel bearings that are squeaking?

The '98-'00 4x4 Ranger front hub bearings are not serviceable. You will need to replace the hub/bearing assembly as a whole.

Check out: TRS Magazine - 98-00 Ranger Hub/Bearing Assembly Replacement

IIRC you have also been having issues with the front hubs failing to engage. So you might also consider replacing the original PVH hubs with the AVM manual lockers while you are at it.

My 4x4 has never worked. So who knows! I believe the transfer case motor is bad, but also the hoses in the hubs are rotted and the lines corroded!

Is the front driveshaft engaging when you switch to 4WD? If the front shaft spins when the truck is in motion and 4WD is selected, then the TC is fine.

All the more reason to abandon the existing vacuum hubs (or modify them to be engaged all the time).

I actually have the front drive shaft out right now! But yeah, I dont think its engaging. Been meaning to get around to fixing it, but since I have never really had the need its been on the way way way back burner.
