Question Know of Any Places to Metal Detect?

I haven't had much time to MD lately, but am getting back into it. My sons and I hunted the empty field behind out church last weekend and found some newer coins and lots of aluminum trash that we disposed of properly. Can't believe how many soda and beer cans are buried in the ground all over.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows of any locations near Owasso/Tulsa that I could ask permission to metal detect on? I do not tear up lawns or property. I fill all holes I make and remove and properly dispose of all trash that I dig up. I metal detect as a hobby, as my full time job and raising a family takes up the majority of my time.

Thanks in advance.

Ron - I hope you are coming to the GTG on Sept 7th. If so, bring your detector and check out the yard and, if you want, the rugged bit of property outside the fence. This used to be a dairy and I know there are things buried as they keep showing up. But I doubt any of it is worth anything as so far all I've found is rusty bits of farm debris, like a cable and clamp, bolts, and some part to an implement.

If I was into MDing, I would look at these sites. No telling what might turn up.

Ron, I asked that guy out in Adair and he said he's already told a friend of his that he can do it. Sorry it took me a year to get back with you, this post just reminded me of it.
