Searching for rear window exterior moulding

I have a 61 Custom Cab and I can't seem to find the wrap around strip that is right below the window. Has anyone ordered this item or know where to find one? Most of the catalogs like LMC do not have this listed or maybe I just don't see it. Attaching a photo showing the piece I am describing.

Thanks! Great to have joined this forum

Welcome to FTE

This back glass and related mouldings were only used on 1961/63 F100/250 2WD Uni Custom Cabs (body style 66B).

Uni: So called because the front of the bed is united (welded) to the back of the cab.

AFAIK, no one reproduces either of these mouldings. The specific to Uni Custom Cab only wrap-around back glass weatherstrip has been reproduced by Dennis Carpenter

Compare the Uni pic (body style 66) on the left..to the pic on the right.

Right: The back glass used on 1961/63 Uni Standard Cabs (body style 66A) and all other 1961/66 F100/1100's

I am beginning to see that is the case. I might actually remove it and paint black and use a sander to remove the paint leaving behind the black grooves. I have also thought of having it chromed as I have seen another truck have this done. Maybe I will get lucky and someone will know or have more information or even have one

There is a 62 F250 Uni right around the corner from where I work. It's sitting up on blocks sans wheels and tires, and is in a serious state of neglect. It does however have the big back window and subsequent trim although I don't know what condition the trim is in. I keep meaning to stop by and ask them what their plans are with the truck but so far haven't find the time.

THe trim we have on there is ok but needs some TLC. When the car season comes to a close I might have it chromed. Guess I could have it powder coated silver too which would look nice.

Let me know if you hear more on that trim if you stop in there. These are the coolest trucks. We get more compliments in a single drive in this Uni than we do all season with our 23 T-Bucket.
