Hey guys, long time viewer, first time poster here. I've learned so much on this forum and thank you all for making it easy.

For the last two years I've run a single stabilizer (Bilstein) on my truck and thought everything was pretty smooth. Until my last trip, when I drove down a road that seemed to be made with some kind of silly putty, as it was nearly impossible to not only see the waves in the road but to keep control of the truck.

So I decided to upgrade over the weekend and installed dual (opposing) stabilizers from Fabtech. All I can say is WOW, the truck now handles like a sports car and I can't wait to see how it does on my next trip.

Welcome to FTE! Glad to hear that your truck is handling much better, I myself have been tossing around the idea of a dual stabilizer i just did a 3-4" lift with 35's. Did you notice it any easier to keep straight on highways? I currently run the OEM stablizer and on the high way its a pain to keep her in the lane.

Yes, like shockingly different. I really don't know how to explain it.

When I upgraded to the single Bilstein it made a difference over stock, but this dual setup with just the standard Fabtech performance shocks that came with the kit has changed the drive so much I really can't believe it.

Granted, the Fabtech shocks are much larger all the way around so I'm sure that's part of it too.

 

What size are the fabtech shocks? i cannot seem to get on thier site for some reason. I have been looking into the top Gun Customz dual set up (TGC: 99-04 Ford F250/F350 00-05 Ford Excursion 4x4 Dual Steering Stabilizer)with the bilsteins mainly because i just got them on all 4 corners and i like to match . Only thing that sketches me out about it is the shocks dont have any sort of brace on both sides of the bushings so it looks like the bolts could break where they mount in the center. I know that is highly unlikely but i still like to think that it wont happen.

 

Not sure on the length but the kit is FTS8023 which most of the pictures online show it in parallel but they're opposing. The hardware is very solid and have bushing on both sides of the post end.
