Bak tonneau covers

Considering a Bak hard folding tonneau cover. They appear to be made well and will serve purpose keeping cargo/fishing gear dry and secure. Does anyone have any experience with the Bak product? F1 model? Thanks.

Hello

Wrong forum but the moderators will probably move this one...maybe. don't know.

I have a bakflip G2. I like it. Here's why.

1. It keeps everything for the most part dry. I do get a little amount of water in the bed but not like having the bed wide open. However, I do not have the drain lines installed. This is most likely the source of any water that does make it in there.

2. Gets out of the way for items like bulk mulch or large item pickups. The bakflip does block the rear glass. Never had any issues though.

3. Low Profile. It sits flush with the bed rails. You lose maybe an inch between the top of the bed rail to the bottom side of the cover. I think my truck looks good with the G2 on. It doesn't look like there is a Tonneau cover. Added benefit more space for storage. Going shopping to several places everything does not needed to sit on the back seat and floor.

4. Easy to operate. My wife is only 5 4 and she can open the cover with ease.

If you check out my thread on the Super Duty forum, I have several pictures of the g2 in action. I hope this helps.
