Just wondering when I'll start seeing Class C motorhomes on the new transit cutaway. Dave

 

No talk about it at all so far in the industry.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they do appear.

My parents (in Australia) have a Winnebago that is built off an Iveco cutaway (essentially same type of vehicle as the transit cut-away).


Similar weight ratings to the E350 cut-away, but they are getting ~20mpg with it (3.0 4cyl turbo diesel/6 speed manual)

 

I read the article when they were unveiled and I'm positive it said that cutaway versions would be made.

 

The Cutaways will be made - its just if any of the RV manufacturers will build off them (I am sure they will). No doubt they will be used for small buses and other things that the current E-350 cutaway is used for.
