My truck is 1/2" higher on the passenger side than the drivers side front and rear. Had an 08 F350 that the Pas. side was 1" higher than the DS. and the rear was the same on both sides. See what the dealer will do, they did nothing for me on the 08 and my 13 was close enough for me, I measured before I signed.

I think its just that not all springs have the exact same tention plus the body and frame could be slightly off. I would bet you could check any brand of cars and trucks and find some differences.
The only people that really notice are those that go through the trouble to set up there hitch's correctly and actually measure the fenders to see if its set up right.
I did not have any handling issues or tire wear when mine were off.
I have read in the past that some people got the dealer to switch springs from side to side to fix but don't remember the outcome.

Did you buy the truck without looking at it? Saying the general fit and finish is a joke is a pretty generalized statement. What other complaints do you have about it?
What'd the dealer say, it was within spec? What's the spec? If it's not, call Ford customer service. You gotta put a little effort into it. I've run into similar "push back" by service advisors, but yours seems self explanatory. If it's within spec, so be it, if it's not, it should be fixed...
