2013 front clip conversion

Hi Guys,

I have managed to locate someone stateside that has a kit to allow us to convert the 99-07 front clip to the 2013 model(Adaptors and brackets). I am hoping to get over to the states in October to check this out first hand and see just how good this kit is. Question is, would anyone else be seriously interested in doing the same to where we could push for a better deal on purchase price and freight and/or I am looking into becoming the Aust. agent for these? I don't have the exact numbers $$$ in yet but just wanted to start feeling things out.
The next project after this is trying to get an 08 dash and interior in one of our trucks. The gauges must be able to work else I am not doing this one. I have been searching but no solid leads yet. Anyone heard anything solid about this? From what I have read I will need the 08 PCM but it can run the 7.3?? I still can't find anyone 100% on this. I can get a RHD dash in the states it is just the details. I will rework the HVAC to hopefully get it how it should have been when built.
I know I can just buy an 08-13 but at the prices they want it's just plain rude and I own my truck outright.
I swear this truck will drain my bank account but I will still be smiling at the end and this is a devil of a project.

Cheers

The 08 trucks are CANbus, so they shouldn't work with your model year (at least not plug/play). There is no way an 08 module will be able to control anything on your truck.

You might be able to get the 08 gauge cluster to operate from your modules/harness if you find the right input voltages, and *******ise the wiring harness to the gauges to make it work (but again, if its CAN, it is probably all digital)

Like anything, it can be done, but I personally wouldn't bother.

Hope you post pics of the 2012 front upgrade, there is a lot of difference from our 99-03 fronts. There are some places in usa doing kits I believe but they will be different for rhd trucks as the 12 fronts have different wiper cowls and our wipers swing from the right so you will have to modify that. And the looms will be a lot different as aussie ones are different anyway, but if you do it, post pics
