I'm scared to park it anywhere now, just waiting for that first scratch/dent, then I'll be cursing my choice of colour.

Sharp lookin' truck, congrats!

As far as the sunroof, and don't take offense to this question, but is it closed all the way? It tilts up, along with retracting, wondering if it's tilted open slightly. If not, you can get a pretty good view of it standing on the interior foot board (whatever that's called) when the door's open.

For what it's worth, I have zero noise through my sunroof.

Thanks for the kind words, well I've put nearly 800 kms (500'ish miles) and the big grin is still there

Fuel economy was 15.9l\100 kms, I think this works out to about 17 imperial miles to the gallon, which I'm happy about, not too far off what I was getting with 2010 F150 5.4

2000silverbullet,

The noise comes from when the roof is open, it's a reverberating wind noise, I think the little wind deflector that pops up when the roof is opened is not deploying out far enough.

What you're experiencing is most likely wind buffeting and it happened to mine all of the time when I had the roof open but none of the windows down. You can usually cure it by cracking one or more of the windows.

One of the things that strikes me about the truck, is that it seems to have lots of power, I pulled a lot of decent size hills in 5th easily and gaining speed, when in the 5.4 f150 it would have been hunting down the gears.

The ride is more harsh, but I knew that would be the case, I've dropped the rear tire pressures down to 65psi and that seems to help, I know a lot of people have change the shocks, so that might be something I do in the future.

The real test for me will be when I hitch the travel trailer up and head out again, I think I'm going to be pleasantly suprised

I hooked up to our 5ver today for a short pull to check the hitch and I was pleasantly surprised even with a heavy wind and hills
