We were down in the Waldron area yesterday...the Poteau River was still up and very muddy. I can only image what the Ouachita looked like. They got 10" of rain and a couple of twisters last Thursday. Just south of Waldron is where the Scott County sheriff along with a game warden were killed trying to rescue two women trapped in a house by rising water. Strange weather the last couple of weeks for sure.

So far, so good 
River is rising pretty fast, if it keeps coming we might have to move back to Mount Holly for a few days. Not going to go through having to tie the boat up to the steps and the dog not having anywhere to "go" outside. At least we are not fighting the debris in the river current like our friends are 
More rain coming today, we'll see what happens from there.
