**Update** I am going to pick up the correct I beams this week. I should have the truck streetable by this time next week. Like I say below, the truck starts and runs great, but due to the wrong I beams, the brakes wouldn't fit. Now with the correct beams I just purchased the truck will run, drive, shift AND stop like it should.

1973 F-100 long bed needs to go. I picked it up about a year ago and stripped it down to the fame and began a resto. I removed, cleaned/sanded and repainted everything. I rebuilt the motor and every seal and gasket was replaced. It has the stock 2 barrel carb on it but that was rebuilt as well. The truck starts and runs great however I tried to put 78 F-250 suspension on it and after I sold my old stuff I realized the new 2 piston calipers will not fit the wheels I had so it has no front brakes. I have all new door and window seals that will need to be installed.

Now the bad. I am not a body man and can not weld. The body has some pin holes on the cowl in front of the passenger. The rear window channel has rust damage in it behind the passenger and both doors have quarter size holes in the lower corners. I sand blasted the body and 2K epoxy primed it but wanted to drive a truck that looked some what close to completion so I sprayed it blue even though I did not patch the holes. I am the type of guy who feels that the holes should be cut and new metal welded in not patched with filler.

Last problem is since the F-250 suspension did not work correctly it has no front brakes. For who ever the potential buyer is I can continue looking for replacement F-100 I beams and brakes to make it a driving truck or you can have it as it is.

There are some pictures below but I have over 50 pictures that show the work I did as it was being completed.

I am about to be moving soon so this truck really needs to go. All offers will be considered even trades will be thought about seriously. Hopefully someone will find this truck and be able to finish it and thoroughly enjoy it. All offers will be considered and trades are a possibility as well.

Enjoy!

Nope! My GLH has been completely redone with srt4 parts. And if my dent was a short bed stick I'd be keeping it too. What TD do you have?
