They are not real chrome simply plastic "chrome". Tap on one and you will see.
I'm sure they are available as a part but it doesn't appear to be easy to find. I found the standard black ones and also the primed for the limited but nothing about the king ranch.
I don't think that 3M tape would last too long on that mirror, you start head cycling, throwing in impacts and water intrusion and I would be shocked if they lasted 3 years.

If the mirror is clean before sticking on the cover, it should outlast the truck.

Interesting discussion as I was under a friends new Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup and was shocked to learn that beautiful chrome monstrous front bumper is CHROMED PLASTIC ! I was so disappointed ..!!! I guess that all do it here or there but REALLY on the FRONT BUMPER? Glad my ford it colormatched vinyl..
