Ordered New Wheels for 2013 Expedition

I ordered new wheels to replace the stock 18"wheels/tires on the new black/Adobe Expedition. These are new Ford 20" F150 Lariat (corrected) wheels, that will be treated with the 'winter chrome' process. Guaranteed against pitting/problems regardless of road conditions (winter salt, etc). I'm not a fan of most aftermarket wheels wanted to stay with Ford wheels, and wanted something alittle different for the Expedition. Should take about a month to receive them. I'll wrap them with new Michelin 275x60x20 tires (about same section and width as the x55s, but about an inch taller and more comfortable sidewall) Will post pics of the completed project..

Looks good.
Not to be picky but the ones you posted pics of are the optional 20" Lariat wheels ( chromed )
The factory 20" F150 Platinum wheels are the same as the 20" polished wheels available on the Expedition.

Still looks good though.

Sorry, yes, the pics are of new polished F150 Lariat wheels that have been 'winter chromed' by LA Wheel and Tire.

I wanted something a bit different and relatively easy to clean

I sure didn't wanted the 20" wheels with the chromed plastic covers.

Thanks

Correct, I mentioned that they are Lariat wheels in the prior response.

I'm intrigued by the durability because they use a physical vapor deposition process which is typically much thinner than a typical chrome.

It was explained to me that they use the physical vapor deposition process over the polished/cleaned wheel as a 'primer' to promote adheasion, followed by the standard 4-step chrome process, followed by a clear 'sealer' process.
