98 Explorer 5.0 Engine Spec Sheet

I thought this would be handy for some of you... It comes straight from Ford. I posted this in the Explorer thread as well.Should be good information for most of the 5.0L engine applications.

Yes, there is nothing unique in the Explorer shortblock it's the same as any other truck 5.0 built after 1994 so most of those specs apply, the heads and intake is where this motor differs from the norm.

They changed the pistons sometime around 96-97, I tore down a 97 motor a year or so ago and the pistons were noticeably different in the skirt than those used previously.
