New to me owner of a 57 F100 in San Diego

Hello,

Just thought I'd say hello to the So Cal page. I have been down here from Canada about 2 years now. After a recent motorcycle accident, some strong hints from my mother & girlfriend and tons of free time to search craigslist and ebay I am the proud new owner of a barn find project. More infor on that can be found below.

And as I am off work for a good 6-8 months while recovering I can be had cheap (aka will work for beer) to help with any ongoing projects, as long as you expect no heavy lifting.

Don't need anything done, so can't "hire you" (the mileage costs alone would kill me), but sticking my head in here long enough to say GREAT FIND, and good luck with any restoration necessary.

Also, good decision on re-thinking your mode of transportation. I suspect you have already had some considerable time to contemplate your future.

Welcome to SoCal FTE. This is a good place to hang your hat. Good bunch of people here!

Again, welcome!

Welcome.

Good find, looks like the body is pretty straight.

Let me add my welcome also.
Looks like you've got your next few months tied up getting that truck together.
She's a beaut'.
If you need to do anything to the y block, there is a man down by you in El Cajon I believe named John Mummert who may be the best guy in the world to talk to concerning y blocks.
He helped me a great deal and is a hell of a nice guy.
Good luck with your truck and welcome.
