Three speed help
Hey everyone, I'm new here and have a few questions about a three speed transmission I'm rebuilding for a buddy. The transmission is in a 1964 f100 223 SWB but it isn't the original.
Upon tear down I found the cluster gear, reverse idler, sliding gear all have chips in them so I figured we might as well replace all the gears and do a complete overhaul.
So far this is what I have found to be in the transmission:
Cluster gear: C2AZ-7113-A teeth count 27/23/17/14
Counter shaft: C0AR-7111-A
Reverse idler gear shaft B-7140-A
Main shaft: B5C-7061-A
Main shaft bearing: 51A-7065-A
Input shaft bearing: 8A-7025-A
Main drive gear: B6C-7017-B tooth count 16. Ten spline 1-3/8
Intermediate gear: C1AZ-7102-A tooth count 22
Reverse idler gear:??? Tooth count 17
Low reverse sliding gear:??? Tooth count 28
Synchro sleeve:???
I am hoping someone might be able to fill in the blanks and point me in the right direction for NOS parts. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Welome to FTE.
I don't know nothin from nothin when it comes to transmissions. Actually, when it comes to most things. In awhile, some others will see the thread and chime in, but meanwhile they are going to want some more specific info about that particular tranny, maybe casting numbers, etc., before guessing at its' internals.
Bill, a.k.a NumberDummy will eventually happen upon this thread, and most likely can provide Fords latest part numbers once the tranny is identified, and perhaps even where to source the parts. Be kind to that sometimes grumpy old soul, he can be your best friend.I think he may have a bad case of gout in his toe.LOL!
Good luck,
Steve

This is exactly why I need to verify everything. I went down this road when this project first started. I ended up buying a cluster gear(B4A-7113-A), reverse idler (1A-7141-A), second gear(1A-7102-A), and low reverse slider(1A-7100-A). All of which don't fit lol. Take in consideration these are all NOS parts
After some discussion with Mac VP he said the second gear will work but upon my inspection the older 51-54 gear has a bushing and the one out of the transmission doesn't. Also the second gear that came out of the transmission has oil slots on both ends which the 1A-7102-A doesn't.
Mac has all the parts I need but they are NORS and my buddy is being a stickler for original ford parts.

I can't find any of those part numbers in my book for anything. Do you know what tranny it is? I can give you all of the part numbers for a specific tranny. I have been assuming that you have a ford 3 speed because that is what the part numbers seemed to match up with that you originally gave me.
