1977 F250 4x4 460/C6

Year: 1977
Make: Ford
Model: F-250
Price: $2500
Mileage: 130000
Color: green
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CO
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD
Color: Green
Engine: 460

I want to get an old crew cab, so I'm putting this one up for sale. 1977 (late 77 design) 4x4 F250. 460 engine from a 1986 or 1987 truck. C6 transmission. Married transfer case. Dana 44 high pinion front, Dana 60 rear. Utility box on it, and tow hitch. Brand new studded tires (235/85/R16). Almost no rusthrough (quarter sized hole in left front fender is it for rust on the cab), and no dents except some very minor on right front fender. Glass is all good. 1978 grill, but I have a good 1977 setup for it as well. Cab is apparently from a '75 F150 instead of original, but frame and drivetrain is still 3/4 ton.

This was my plow truck, but not used very often. Runs good, but have to pour gas in carb to start it if it's been sitting overnight -- power valves in carb are probably blown out it seems. Runs fine once it starts though -- I've towed a small excavator once and it had good power even on hills, though it got 5mpg doing that. Normally more in the 10mpg range. Radiator just sprung a leak so it needs a new radiator now. Gas gauge does not work. Other than that, it seems to be pretty good. Haven't driven it since that happened about two months ago. I was going to repaint it and get it all cherry looking, but I want a crew cab to hold the three big dogs.

Plow is not going with the truck.
Asking $2500 as is
$3000 I'll put in a new rebuilt carb and radiator.
$700 off if I keep the studded tires and put on a set of street tires. $500 off if I keep the Utility body.

OBO.

Located in Ward, CO Would probably make it on a long distance trip with a new radiator but the farthest I've driven it is about 100 miles at a time, so it'd be up to you to decide whether that's a good idea to take on.

email for more info or questions zyewdall at g mail.

btw, there's no way that I'm selling the 4wd courier in the photo

I took two videos of it, one walkaround showing condition and rust (only one spot on the drivers fender where it's gone through, everything else is in really nice condition). And one of cold starting it. About 30F, hadn't started in a week or so. Had to pour gas in the carb twice to get it to start, but it runs good once it starts.

I'm taking the utility bed off, and will repost soon with new pics when I do that.
