anybody done a cat/dpf delete and egr cooler block off with reprograming to prevent regin and had any problems if so what please dnn.t respond with its illegal

 

yes, many people have done that. you are going to have a slightly harder time finding the parts now that the EPA is going crazy about it, but still doable. probably just more $

Like the man said, not too hard but getting more expensive by the day. Both Edge and H&S have quit making tuners that you can use to delete. So, if you want one of thm you have to find one in a speed shop or on aa craigs list somewhere. As far as I know Spartan is still in business. I don't know why but given our current government I can guess. You need the delete pipe and a tuner. Easy way is to remove both the DOC (cat) and the DPF. You can check ebay, just go to motors/parts/dpf delete and the stuff will come up if there is any left. Good luck. Oh yeah, one more thing, it's a violation of federal law. just kiddin man. You won't regret it, the truck runs way different.
