searching for my tranny to day i ran accros this guy in rosburg oregon. his name is vern and he knows is stuff. He has lots of parts and rebuilds all his trannies/TC, and engines. His prices are really good also. here is his craigslist link, if your serious about buying give him a call. he is really knowledgeable and rebuilds alot of the 70's fords.

Hope this helps someone out cause i will call him again. I will post somepics of the tranny when i get is just so you can see his work. He charged me 600 for a C6 4x4 divorced tranny, included torque converter, flywheel, and bolts and shipping.
