wiper stalk illumination

Hello just picked up a 2010 limited expy with all the toys. When driving it home from the dealership( 3 hours away) I noticed the stalk does not have any illumination. I wondered if it is supposed to be and if a bulb maybe blown out.

Nope, nothing wrong, the wiper stalk is not supposed to be illuminated. Although that would be cool, I've never seen that in any vehicle I've had.

second RI-Matt - it stinks because those things control so many things now. but you will get used to them pretty quick. Really stinks when I get in my wifes car at night and everything is in a different place wiper wise. Congrats on the Expy - the limiteds are nice.

Not sure if you have owned an Expy before - but after you take your first driving vacation in one, nothing else will compare to it for traveling. The mileage sux and there is really no way around that. They are very capable and versatile. I considered downsizing when I bought our current one - and there is nothing on the market that would do what the Expy does as well as it does it.

Illuminated Stock

Yes, As a matter of fact this is my 3rd, I had a 97, 05 and now a 10. I actually tried to down size and purchased a near new or like new VW Touareg V10 TDI. Great power but I was so spoiled by the size and ability of the Expy I sold the Treg after 2 months and went back to the expy. I am an expy bigot.. We have traveled all over with these things and YEP mileage SUX but so did trex.. And if I need to tow or load this thing up YUP it works.. both of our kids went off to University and we used the 97 to move our daughter and the 05 to move our son to school and these things are HUGE..... Love these trucks.. this one has second row captains heated seats ( a first for us) all the rest were benches.. Love this thing..
