1990 F-250 without door remote unlocks. Did it come with remote lock unlock? If so where can I get one?

 

Nope, these trucks never ever came with remote locks.

 

But if you have power locks it's fairly easy to install remote entry.

 

LMC sells a complete remote entry/power door lock aftermarket kit for about 70$

 

iirc,1994 was the first year they offered keyless entry on the xlt trucks.i put this one in my '93;

^^ that's only if you already have power locks of course.

actualy while removeing my carpet i found a ford stamped box with about 12 wires coming out and a key fob number and it whent to an alarm speaker under hood (idk how i never saw it ) and i says its a lock /unlock controle modual ..... with ford stamped clear as day and the red power wire comeing from the box was cut and since i dont have the fob nor care to have an alarm i just left it but some did come with it how rare i have no idea !

yeah they work decent.i helped my old man put one in his '08 f350 too.can you believe they didn't make keyless entry standard in an '08 xlt either!

 

Thanks for the links. I've been looking for a keyless entry. Cheapest I've found is over 50$
