radiator support removal?

How difficult is it to remove the radiator support (only)? I can't seem to find any diagrams, or instruction?

Thanks!

Start removing bolts till it's out. These truck come apart pretty easily. I've completely stripped two. The biggest issue is the bolts breaking due to rust, but that just means it comes apart faster!

Unbolt grill from inside fenders, remove header panel under grill, frame mounts on back side of rad support, rad, then bolts holding rad support to inner fenders. You might be able to get the rad support out without doing any more, but removing the fenders or at least one may be necessary. Never removed just the rad support before.

You will have to be a little careful I think the Radiator support is what holds the whole front end together. It is what holds up the fenders in the front which the fenders hold the grill and front valance.

You might have to try and find a way to hold the front end up. Otherwise maybe the front valance and fender skirts might help hold it up a little.

Hope that helps.

Sorry, I was away for a bit!
Thanks Tbird and F100. Yeah, I think this part is a bit more integral than you'd imagine. I may have to wait to remove it until I do a full fender, etc removal.

fenders can stay on...remove one fender apron and loosen the other alot, remove radiator and fan/water pump pulley and you can remove it from the inside...I pulled one last year then the grille and lower valance...the grille to fender bolts are the worst...a tough nut to access..
