2010 Lincoln Navigator switch console for a seat in the 2nd row

I have a 2010 Lincoln Navigator, and I would like to take out my second row center console and replace it with a seat 40/20/40. I only need the "20" not the entire second row. Hoping there is someone that is looking for a console and would like to trade for their seat, or has a seat they would be willing to sell? My interior color is a light tan, all one color

I appreciate any help out there

Thanks Brooke

I did the opposite to my Expedition EL eddie bauer

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-for-sale.html

Ford Leather Seat

The seat is about 70-80 pounds, I don't know how much shipping will cost

Have you lifted up the carpet to make sure the floor has the built in brackets to attach the 20% seat? Most due my ford mini van did.

PS the Lincoln console I purchased was new on ebay and cost me $300 I was trying to get $300 to recoup some funds the dealer wants $1200. for the console

Is your seat the light tan color? If so I will look at the Lincoln tonight and make sure that the seat can work and I would pay you $300 and see if I could find someone on uship to ship it to me

Thanks

I'm interested in doing a variation of this mod to my 08' Limited. My truck has captains chairs from the factory and I want to add the Navigator rear console in order to expand interior storage. Anyone done this? I gather that the inside captains chair armrest will have to be removed due to interference with the console itself. Are there plugs available for the remaining holes? After armrest removal just find pre-existing mounting holes in floor for console?

Tommy,
There are NO pre-existing mounting holes in floor for console. because the Lincoln console requires 2 brackets for a proper install 2L7Z-78045B32-AA Front
2L7Z-78045B32-BA Rear.

I didn't use the brackets I just drilled a few holes and mounted. NO problems since.
I did a search for Lincoln 2nd row console follow link Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - Search Results

As for the armrest, someone posted the right way to remove maybe others will answer.

Thanks for the response. To your knowledge are the holes for the brackets in the floor?

Tommy, I don't know...if you follow this link to my post the second page has a picture of the carpet where the 20% seat was. But I really don't know, but the image does show holes...you can zoom the image.

Look at the image Rakuten.com - Bracket - Console of the console brackets it shows 4 screws or bolts to secure the 2 brackets to the floor and 4 more screws or bolts to secure the console to the brackets.

Make sure if you purchase the brackets that the hardware comes with.

Hope this helps

Well I took the plunge and bought a brand new Lincoln rear console off of Ebay for $269.00 shipped. I'm going test fit it in between the seats before I order the brackets to see how/if the armrests interfere. My next action will be determined by the test fit.

Thanks for the help.

I'll keep you posted.

Tommy

I have a tan seat I would swap for the console

I have a '13 Expedition EL with the stone interior, all perfect condition. I would be interested in a swap of the center seat section for the console. It does require two brackets to mount the console, but the seat will bolt directly into the holes in the floor (you may have to find them through the carpet).

Look at that timing... I have an '08 Navigator, with light tan interior. Not sure if it's the same as what they call stone these days. We'd need swap some decent pics, but I'm in. I'm looking for the console. I forgot to look where you're located, but I'm northern Illinois. Let's talk. Edited... after re-reading your post, are you looking for the seat, or the console? I need a console.

Rick, I think we're both looking for a console. I saw one months ago on Ebay - should have popped the $150 they were asking for it.

Taking a long driving vacation soon with two kids - have the headrest DVD players, but looking for a console so their junk everywhere doesn't drive me nuts the whole trip.

BTW - I'm also in Northern IL.

too funny, and too bad we weren't looking for the opposite parts, dangit... a little bit east of Rockford here. I have the drop down 7in screen for entertainment at this end, it does the job. altho the headrest DVD's are way cooler. good luck on your console search!

Just west of Crystal Lake - all is not lost, the center seat folds flat and makes a little table for the kids to play cards and stuff on. Maybe we'll both get lucky and find those consoles for future trips!

Best of Luck!!!
