Help Cluster

Hello guys. Well I got a 1960 F100 and im putting in a 2000 ford lighting motor in it. I already have the motor with tranny and wire harness and all that good stuff. The issue im having is how am i going to hook up the cluster with the new harness. Do they sell a kit that could go in the truck and wire up to harness or do i put in the lighting cluster in it? I would really appreciate it if guys can help out. Thanks

With that engine and transmission you might not have a place to connect the speedometer cable, the 2000 trucks used a pickup on the rear axle to drive the speedometer.

Someone might make an adaptor or input device to get you a mechanical connection if you want to use the old speedometer.

On the old gauges - they will work with the Lightning engine if you put compatible (old style) sending units in the engine.

It might be less work to adapt the gauges and speedometer from the Lightning cluster to the old cluster.
