motorcraft solenoid 3 terminal vs 4 terminal

I needed a new starter solenoid for my 1986 f350 460 with elec pumps.
Ford dealer said they had one in stock. I took old one off and start to install the new one.

New one only has one small termminal whereas the old one had two.

The missing one is where the blue wire would go. I think this is for the electric pumps. Is there a way to make this work or do i need to return the part?

The look the same other wise. Two big terminals stacked vertically and the small ones would be on either side of those. The new one just has a "blank" spot on the right side where blue would go.

Thanks

The missing "I (Ignition)" terminal sends 12v to the coil when cranking. The coil runs on 7-9 volts but needs 12v when cranking.

I'd think you want to return it for the 4th terminal.

You are correct, you need the 4th terminal on your truck for the fuel pump system. It's what primes the system by powering the pumps during cranking. After that, the pumps get their power through the oil pressure switch/relay system. It's the wire in the picture below that goes straight down from the starter relay to the fusible link.
