For reference:
to post pics from your gallery into a thread;
First, open the picture you want to post (for me I like to open the gallery in another window or tab)
2nd, right click on the picture and then select "properties"
3rd, on the box that comes up, got to the "Address (URL)" and left click on it 3 times to highlight the address.
4th, right click on the highlighted address and select "copy"
Now go to the thread you are trying to post into, type what you want to type, put the cursor where you want the pic, then click on the "insert image" box (the little yellowish box with the mountains in it on the header bar).
now sometimes you might get a beep and a warning about pop-ups or a scripted window or something like that, if so, click on the warning to temporarily allow it.
After you allow that you will have to go back and click on the "insert image" thingy again. This time you will get a box "Explorer User Prompt" that will come up asking you to enter the URL of the image you want. In the area where you enter the URL there will be something like "http/:" and it will be highlighted.
Delete this http.
Now you can right click in that box and select "paste" to paste in the URL address that you previously highlighted in step 4. Then click "OK" and you are done.

Bobby,
Got the truck out of GA in 2007 Originally truck was manufactured for an outfit in FL. That FD is no longer operating. It then went to anoter place with stampings on the brass of M.B.V.F.D Could never accertain if it was Miami. It wound up in GA in a gated community. as their Fire protection. I have all the original contracts, build sheets, specks etc.,etc, form Seagrave Fire apparatus. Including rwo pictures as it left the Seagrave factory. I will post some pics when I figure it out. I can see you were able to post them for me. Any detaills would be appreciated. I have a post out to Bobj about this also. When i go to the pictures, dbl click, properties, highlight, but it will not let me copy. Anyway, I have done a slew of work already, but thought it would be nice to start a build.thread. 16900 mi

Jim,
Great history. I can't wait to see more of it. I've really enjoyed Keiths restoration and have learned a lot. This one should be pretty interesting as well.
Good idea contacting bobj on the pics, he should be able to get your straightened out. It can be a pain sometimes. Nowadays I usually put my pics in a photobucket account and then transfer them into thread....still a pain sometimes....LOL

Jim,
I think I know where you are going wrong. I just fiddled around with it a bit....
When you pull the picture up, then go to properties, then highlight the URL.....
...Now here it is...when you go to right click make sure that your little cursor arrow is on the highlighted text.....when you do that the "paste" option is available.
If the cursor isn't on the highlighted text when you right click then the highlighting just goes away

Thanks Keith. My truck will not be as well done as yours, but I think it will look nice when finished
