need help,i installed a 6 lb bottom pulley on my 2003 harley and a diablo flip chip,when i get on it i clatters and does not sound right,i put exxon 93 octain in it,but no differance,please help

 

It sound like you have a bad detonation problem, you need to send your chip back it sound like its not tuned properly for your pulley and other mods you might have.

Sounds like too much timing and/or too lean a mixture for the boost its making. Was the chip custom programmed for the modifications or a stock chip (a stock chip will destroy the engine eventually with a 6lb pulley)?

Does the chip have a sticker with a program code on it? If so, let me know what it says and I'll see what I can tell you about it.

 

You need to send your chip in for a reburn, it sounds like its not programed for the mods you have, so your getting detonation.
