F150 trailer towing mirrors

Does anyone know what additional hardware/switches are needed to convert my 2011 F150 standard mirrors to the telescoping trailer towing mirrors?

are your mirrors now power adjust, do they have turn signal, are they heated?
all of the questions you need to be answered before someone can answerer your question!
if you have no power or anything its possible to just get the same in the tow mirrors

I just did the exact same swap on my 2012 xlt. i had the paddles that were power adjust, heated, with turn signals standard on the xlt. i put on fords trailer tow mirrors and everything was swapped over no problems at all.the wiring harness also fit right in with no problems. the tow mirrors are heated have turn signals, puddle lamps, and power adjust. they will only telescope manually though, they are not the power scope mirrors that are available on some of the new 2013's. to my knowledge if thats what you are looking for, your truck will be missing the fold switch and some required wiring. ther is a video on you tube showing how to remove the door panels. is was very simple.

no such thing! its all controlled buy the rear view mirror. if your towing and have a big camper it wouldn't see behind the camper to work. thats why no dimming tow mirrors are made!

I really wish the tow mirrors came with auto dimming on the large mirror portion. On a dark road at night the headlights from cars behind can really blind and glare in my eyes. I have to turn the big mirrors in at night and use only the wide angle mirror. Had to do the same thing with my Superduty. Not so bad in a city where there is more light all around. I rarely tow but love the towing mirrors for everyday driving!

i got mine on ebay from babb ford in michigan. they were 300 for the pair shipped. they were easy to deal with and went out of their way to help out cause one of the mirrors came with a piece of plastic broken off, i gave them a call and they shipped a new one out right away, all i had to do was send the other one back postage prepaid. i would recommend them all day. i just checked on ebay and they don't have any listed right now but there are several other mirrors listed. good luck
