Anybody else out there suffering through this game tonight with me? The past two weeks have been brutal.

Too bad we can't play Marshall and JMU every week

We're 25th now in the AP poll and 19th in BCS.

Hopefully we'll turn things around but it could be a rough rest-of-the-season.

I'm also hoping that the bye week will give some of our injured guys time to get back to 100%.

 

I was listening at work that night, and it was PAINFUL. I could have handled the loss if the team had been at least competitive that night.

 

Same here! I was pretty sure Kansas State was going to win because they're awesome this year. Before the game I told my wife that I just hoped we didn't get crushed like we did the week before. Sad.

 

Well we moved up a couple spots in the AP poll rankings. We do better when we don't play

Sad thing is, you're pretty much right. I heard someone last week say our defense would be better off jumping offsides every play. It's only 5 yards per play compared to what we usually give up, and once we get to the 5 yard line it's always half the distance, which goes on infinitely.

Well, I suppose at least we didn't get blown out by Oklahoma. We owned them in every statistic except the one that counts.

 

Yeah, I can live with a loss like the one to OK. Even though it actually came down to only a few mistakes but hey, at least we were playing ball that night!

If we show up to the next two games like we did against OK we should win the next two. Especially against Kansas.

Yes it is. Not that a few of our players didn't try to give it away with boneheaded penalties. Hopefully we can pull another one out against 1-10 Kansas.
