The title says it all. I've been all over the web looking for where this is.
Several references ended up being the ABS computer. I pulled it and drove all over town so I know that's not it.

ECU location

Its inside the van, pass side, under the heater box. Its covered with a plastic cover And under the hood there is a 10mm bolt that you have to undo before you remove the ECU from inside the van

Thank for the assist

kb1jid,

Thanks. It's 11:20 raining and dark now but you can bet I'm all over this in the morning.

I'll let you know how it turns out.

kb1jid,

OK, thanks, I found it. Now how do I get to the mounting bolt behind or below the A/C blower in the engine compartment?

I thought that might be the way. Working blind seems like all I've been doing lately.

I have a 2003 Impala down now too and everything requires an additional elbow on one arm or the other.

May not be able to get to it again until tomorrow but I really appreciate your help.
