Welcome! Yes, pictures are always helpful. Do you have a starter that is not working or none at all?

If you have a 1959 engine as your casting number indicates, this one on Ebay should work for you, then again I don't know exactly what engine you have for certain. Check it out! 56-62 FORD/MERC. REBUILT STARTER W/WARRANTY (NICE) #1 | eBay

This fella has been selling these rebuilts for quite awhile now. They are getting harder to find.

hi again

much thanks for your kindly help in this case. the starter motor on ebay is nearly the same like mine but the shaft from my starter is a little bit longer and there is not a spring coil in front of the shaft. the body and the holder, respectively the flange is the same. i would attache a picture but don`t know how it works.

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).

Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.

While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ghtsafter1.jpg

Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).

When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).

Your pic will be placed in the post.

Hope that helps.

Do you need the complete starter or just the Bendix drive?

The starter drive is the Bendix inertia type, has a huge coil spring on it.

It's retained to the shaft with a roll pin. The drive has to unwound by hand to get to the pin.

C1AZ-11350-A (replaced 1CM-11350-C) .. Bendix Drive / Obsolete ~ 54 available NOS

1952/60 F100/800 215/223 I-6 & 239/256/272/292 V8 / Misc: 1952/60 Ford I-6 & V8 Passenger Cars.
