After replacing the pick up in my front fuel tank it appears I have gotten some debris in the selector valve. When I try to run on this tank the fuel filter light comes on and the truck will starve for fuel at higher rpms. it runs fine on the rear tank. Can I disassemble the valve to clean it out? Or can someone tell me somewhere I can buy a replacement valve other than the dealer. They want an insane amount for a new selector valve.

 

Funny, wasn't even an hour ago that I was looking this same thing up. The part number is F5TB-9F271-AA and I can only seem to find a few of them on E-Bay. Hope that helps.

 

Try E5TZ9189B. IIRC the electrical connector may be different depending on your model year. But I might not be remembering correctly.
