NEW ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY!

Meet Mater (yeh, just like the movie). He's a '95 F250 XLT 4x4 long bed 5.8L V8. He was named by the previous owner's 6 year old son (who am I to question the wisdom of a 6 year old?) We got him to pull our stock trailer for our move to Trinity County (Nor Cal). He'll have lots to do when we get there. Lots of Forest Service roads, firewood hauling, and all the things living at the edge of the grid has to offer.

Just solved the battery drain problem (see 87 - 96 F Series forum) so I'll be driving the truck a little more. Steve, we're checking things off our "get the hell out of town" list. Hopefully we can start moving before it snows in Trinity. We still need to have a hitch installed, get a quieter muffler (the truck sounds really cool---for about five minutes, then it just gives us a headache), fix the stereo. We're in the process of liquidating our properties down here and reinvesting up there. We call it Hayfork Monopoly. We also need to get some shipping containers for storage up there. Things are moving a little slower than anticipated but we'll get there. Any G2G planned soon?
