IDI Rally Pics!
Well a week ago I got from my month long vacation, the first 4 days were spent in MI, at the IDI Rally
Then after we followed I80 in Iowa, to the worlds largest truck stop, bought a ton of chicken lights and chrome accessories there then headed for Tennessee, SC, NC, Virginia etc etc. Wasn't that big of a trip this year, budget was abit tighter, only did 9000km (5500 miles) in 4 weeks.
Now, enough chit chat, truck pics time
This one is Cummins powered.....
This was the highest HP/Torque IDI truck at the Rally at the dyno! 217HP and 445lbs Torque!
Big Ed, another Cummins powered rig, but the looks make up for this one
Getting ready to Convoy to the Henry Ford Museum (we were 12 trucks to convoy there).
Hour long drive, and made it to the Henry Ford!
Don't we all need this written on our trucks?
Fine Tuning Dyno in Toledo!
Matching couple parked across the street
4th of July truck show and shine! All trucks were here, we were 26 trucks in total at the rally, and over 50 people!!!
After organizing the parking, we had all the bullnoses, bricks and OBS's all together in there year ranges.
6.9/ZF5 powered F150! Gets over 35mpg!
We had a surprise visit from I have no idea who, but he didn't stay to long, a 1988 F350 XLT Lariat Centurion 4 door, 7.3 turbo 5 speed 4x4 Bronco!
We had the local fire dept come judge our trucks, and they let us play with the firetrucks
That pretty much sums it up, sure was fun to be there! Lots of chicken lights and chrome in this show

Heres the best I got. His setup is pretty light duty, but like he said, it's only for show.
That truck is a 1983 F250, he is the original owner, and still has the original paint, garage kepted all it's life.
The trailer is completely self contained as well, as in you can hook it to any truck, and everything will work on it, has it's own battery and everything for the dump. And he recently installed a belt pulley on the pinion to eventually setup an Alternator on it, so it re-charges the battery as it drives.
Oh yea, and hookedon, random question for you, what color is the interior of your tow truck? If it's gray, I have a good spare drivers side door panel if you want it free, if not, it's gonna head for scrap along with the door full of bondo it came off of.

Thanks for pics, John...,No, their a light blue, almost grey though, but I think I'll be swapping the doors from my 96, onto the 90, they have the power windows and lock. Thanks for the offer though...
By the way, got all the hydraulics done, so if your ever in need, give me a shout. I'll be posting some pics of it here, soon, just want to get the floor done and painted before.
