Fast N Loud

Did any one see the fast n loud episode with "67" F250?

1. Who would pay $6000 for that?
2. Not a 67 looks like a 69 to me ok it is a 68
3. I'm not sure he knows what's all needed to do those fixes right
4. He does have a white one hanging around so he might

Your thoughts?

It was a 67. He paid a good price. But with just changing the tires we should of known he wasn't going to make money.

Looked like from the previews they are going to be doing a big Bump build next week... And.. With him replacing the wheels and tires... How did he spend $700? They looked like the same wheels and basic tires...

Still like the show though... So that means Discovery wont pick it up next season...

It seem like most people can't get the years straight on these trucks. My truck's paperwork says 1968. The title says 1968. After doing some research, I found out my truck was built in October 1968 but was a 1969 model. Oops...

Never seen this show. Gave up my Dish last fall and haven't miss ANY of the worthless crap reality shows.

Saw a few episodes of the junkyard guys trying to make a fortune peddling crap with Earl Shive paint jobs. All too phony for me. All the "have to get it done tonight" drama..................oh please. They are all butchers, with bad tastes.

I heard about the '64 Galaxie they whacked on the other week.

I think he makes more money doing work for people on their own cars, on these auctions does not seem like it.

When they were at the auction the big screen said 1968......

I only started to watch it because of the darelict they did a few weeks ago, that was a nice car.

I haven't seen the F-250 episode yet but the one I found hard to believe was the 1950 Olds Rocket 88. They installed a 350 crate engine and "polished the rust" then sold for it for 25K. Made me wonder if I was watching a "scripted" reality program.

Just a thought.

if your talking about the car i posted a picture of (or tired to at least) those are the hot ticket right now. old car with good body but rusted over time, upgrade the engine trans suspension brakes to make it run and drive like a new car. there are a TON of people who will pay top dollar to find a car that looks like that let alone with upgrades done already.

After watching the episode with the 54' Mainline full of rust, and a week later covered in shiny green paint has made me rethink about ever buying a redone vehicle again.

Back then, some states registered vehicles in the year they were first sold new, not by their actual model year.

So, if a 1969 was assembled October 1968, and was sold prior to 1/1/1969 = it could have been registered as a 1968.

1968 serial number range: C00,001 ~ D82,000 (all except Econoline) / 1969 serial number range: D82,001 ~ G30,000 (F100/750).

The episode I watched, they made a ton of money on the 1964 Galaxie 500, but lost money on the Continental Mark VI.

No Thunderbird was available with a 351W until 1977.

1955/71: 1955: 292 4V / 1956: 292 4V; 312 4V / 1957: 292 4V; 312 4V; 312 8V; 312 4V Supercharged / 1958/60: 352 4V / 1961/65: 390 4V / 1962/63 Sports Roadster: 390 6V / 1966/67: 390 4V & 428 4V / 1968/71: 429 2V & 4V.

A very rare car today, I've been looking for one since 1977! One can find hardtops, convertibles, sedanets (fastbacks), two & four door sedans, but the Club Coupes are as rare as hens teeth.

There are two different 1950 Olds 88's. The early cars have the split windshield and small Rocket hood ornament used in 1949, but the side mouldings are strictly 1950.

Late 1950's have a one piece windshield and a much larger Rocket hood ornament like the car this IDIOT ruined.

In 1962, I bought an early '88 Deluxe Club Coupe w/48K on the clock from the original "Little Old Lady from Santa Monica" for 200 bucks. In 1977, I owned 15 vehicles, so something had to go and it was the Olds.

A week later, I went looking for the buyer as I wanted it back, he had moved out of CA, and I never saw the car again. CA license number (black plates) when I sold it: IMH 077

I'll grant you the fact as far as reality shows go 'Fast n Loud' is no where near on par with the likes of the 'Deadliest Catch' but it's still better than 90% of the crap on TV.
