Anyone know where I can find a rear lower shock mount for a '60 F100? Mine broke.

A stud passes thru the eye of the shock, then fits to a bracket mounted on the spring pack.

Which side do you need, right or left, is your truck 2WD or 4WD?

Left side, 2wd. It looks like a bracket that attaches to the ubolts. The shock stud is molded to it, the left side stud broke so po turned it sideways and drilled a hole and bolted the shock to it. It doesn't fit right that way & it keeps coming loose.

1957/58 F100/250, 1959/60 F100/250 4WD: The stud & bracket were furnished individually.

B9C-18108-A .. Left (drivers) Side Rear Lower Shock Mounting Bracket and Stud Assy / Obsolete

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

I located 3 right sides (B9C-18109-A) NOS, but don't know if a right could be modified to work on the left. Let me know if interested.

That's ok, thank you for looking! I'm sure I can fabricate something. I can weld and fabricate some stuff, if not my dad is a certified welder and claims he can "weld anything from a broken heart to the crack of dawn"

Can he weld the temperature in Arid-Zone-A so it doesn't get over 90 (during the day) in summer? I was in Phoenix once when the daytime high was 118. By midnight, it had dropped to a "cool" 99!

I'm an AZ native, I'd take the heat anyway over the cold. I love summertime! The winters are unbearable, gets down into the 40's. I wear 3 layers of clothes to work!

Sounds like the heat has gotten to you over the years, 40 degrees is just about perfect for doing any real physical activity! After a run of below zero temps, 40 feels like summer! It is 58 degrees tonite and it is great T-shirt weather!

We all get use to different things!

At 40 degrees in January i'll be out in the yard in a tee shirt. When it hits 90 i grab a beer and a chair, cause my day is done.
