Hello, My name is Mike and I have recently just obtained ownership of a 1986 F250 RWD. Although I have just gotten this truck it has been with me for most of my life with it being my fathers truck first and now him giving it to me

The kicker is he gave it to me he gave it to my sister first, she wrecked it and now it has become my summer project. My wife insisted that I sell it instead of fixing it but after telling her about my crazy passion for this truck and it being a big part of who I am today and seeing me working on it weekend after weekend she realized just that its more than just a pickup to me.

I found this forum and figured I would fit right in

Cool project. Rebuilding your dad's truck sounds like it means alot more then just getting it back on the road. It would be cool if you shared some of the rebuild process through words and photos. Best of luck on the project.
