DUAL BATTERY SET UP

I have two batteries set up operating at all times at the mo.

I want to put a dash board switch in.

I need a solenoid, switch, heavy guage wire. what else?

Anyone have a past link to step through an easy and straight forward set up.

Also, anyone buy recommended products in west coast canada.

Cheers!

You'll need a continuous duty solenoid and wire terminals, a fuse and fuse holder to protect the switch, heat shrink, and zip ties.

Here are threads for your info: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ry-wiring.html

... or get Painless Wiring's auxiliary battery wiring kit.

I would go with a battery isolator. Whole lot less trouble. Just my opinion.

Why would you want a manual switch? Just curious.
