Im making sure its a true 390... please could someone post a list of what bore and strokes make what?
I ordered a thousand dollars worth of parts for the truck last nite, and tore it down today...

Fe bore and stroke question
standard 390 bore is 4.050 and stroke is 3.78"
standard 360 bore is 4.050 and stroke is 3.50"
standard 352 bore is 4.000 and stroke is 3.50"
standard 410 bore is 4.050 and stroke is 3.98
standard 428 bore is 4.130 and stroke is 3.98
Measure the stroke first to be sure which crank you have. If it is not 3.78" then it is probably a 360 or 352. Good luck!!

Fe bore and stroke question
I will do... as soon as I get that far
I built a matching set of heads for it C6Ae-R's I think... (forgot off top of my head)
Mine had mismatched heads and these heads are really nice so I used them.
They are ported and has a valve job.
Anyways, I'll let you know when I take the oil pan off and remove the pistons and such
Im sure its a 390 now tho, but just to make sure
